The Link and Tubman Partner for YAYA
Tubman and The Link’s Youth and Young Adults Program, or YAYA, is a project that helps youth and young adults 13-24 who have experienced dating violence, domestic violence, sexual assault or stalking. YAYA is funded by the Office on Violence Against Women at the U.S. Department of Justice and works with both female and male clients in Hennepin, Ramsey, Washington, and Dakota Counties.
YAYA helps connect clients to community resources, including safety planning and education, crisis response services and a 24 hour crisis hotline, in-home or community intervention services and visits, goal planning, healthy relationship education, mental/chemical health services, housing, education and school assistance, employment assistance, legal assistance in obtaining Orders for Protection (OFPs) and Harassment Restraining Orders (HROs), and legal representation for youth and youth adult victims who obtain OFPs and HROs. YAYA services are confidential.
For more information, or if you are a youth or young adult interested in participating in YAYA, call or text 612-656-YAYA (9292) or email yayaprogram@gmail.com
