The Link’s new emergency shelter, Dignity House, is for youth of all gender identities between the ages of 10 and 17 who have run away from home, are experiencing homelessness and/or who are involved in the child welfare and juvenile justice systems. Dignity House is located in Hennepin County but can accept referrals from any geographic jurisdiction.

This emergency shelter for minor youth will:

  • Provide a safe and welcoming place for youth to live and transition out of crisis into stability.
  • Offer coordinated case management, positive youth development and group activities, health assessments and on-going support with physical and mental health and support with school enrollment and attendance.
  • Connect youth to community based programs and referrals
