Safe Harbor + Homeless Youth Act Hearings This Week
There is some great news this week which is that both the Safe Harbor and Homeless Youth Act bills are moving forward in both the house and the senate!
This week is an important week in that there will be the following hearings:
Health, Human Services & Housing Committee-Senate
Wednesday, April 6th at Noon, Senate Office Building, 95 University Ave. in St. Paul, Room 2100
Safe Harbor Policy Bill to Up Age from 18 to 24 will be Heard (Beth & a Youth will be testifying)
Health & Human Services Budget Committee-Senate
Thursday, April 7th at 8:30 a.m., Senate Office Building, 95 University Ave. in St. Paul, Room 2100
Homeless Youth Act Hearing for $2 Million Increase (Beth might be testifying w/ youth)
Health & Human Services Budget/Finance Committee-House
Thursday, April 7th 12:45-2:30 p.m., State Office Building, 100 Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Dr. in St. Paul, Room 200
Homeless Youth Act Hearing for $2 Million Increase (May be testifying)
