The Link’s Safe Harbor Programs are in partnership with the state of Minnesota Safe Harbor/No Wrong Door Response.

All are grounded in the best practices for working with sexually exploited youth, including trauma informed care, harm reduction, positive youth development, victim-survivor-leader model and culturally inclusive services.

Passageways

The Passageways Emergency Shelter and Housing Program provides specialized shelter for youth ages 12 to 17 and housing for youth ages 16 to 24  (including parenting youth with children) who are victims of sex trafficking.

Aftercare & Outreach

The Aftercare and Outreach Program is designed to help youth as they transition out of our Passageways Emergency Shelter and Housing Program to ensure that youth are supported after leaving our program.

West Metro Regional Navigator

The West Metro Regional Navigator takes crisis calls and referrals of youth under the age of 24 who are victims of sex trafficking. The program provides crisis intervention, support and connections to shelter, housing and longer term services along with community training and capacity building.

The Link’s Safe Harbor Programs are overseen The Survivor Advisory Committee. Learn more about the Youth Leadership at The Link, here.
