About Dignity House

The Link’s emergency shelter, Dignity House, is for youth of all gender identities between the ages of 10 and 17 who have run away from home, are experiencing homelessness and/or who are involved in the child welfare and juvenile justice systems. Dignity House is located in Hennepin County but can accept referrals from any geographic jurisdiction.

Services

While staying at Dignity House youth are provided with:

  • A safe and welcoming place to live and transition out of crisis into stability
  • Coordinated case management, positive youth development and group activities, health assessments and ongoing support with physical and mental health and support with school enrollment and attendance.
  • Connections to community based programs and referrals for long-term housing
