What We Do

Housing & Homeless Services Division

for youth experiencing homelessness

The Link offers a continuum of support to youth without a safe place to call home. As the largest provider of emergency shelter and housing for youth experiencing homelessness in Minnesota, The Link houses 290 youth and young families each night.

Safe Harbor Division

for sexually exploited youth

The Link supports sexually exploited youth in their journey from victim to survivor to leader. We help youth exit exploitation through street outreach, 24/7 crisis response, and emergency shelter. Once youth are separated from their traffickers, The Link offers housing, health care, and supportive services to help youth heal from trauma and build stable futures free of exploitation.

Youth Advocacy Division

for systems involved youth

The Link partners with youth involved in the juvenile justice system to address underlying issues – like poverty, housing instability, sexual exploitation, or past trauma – that most often cause youth to become involved in crime. The Link supports youth in getting their basic needs met, working toward education or employment goals, completing probation requirements, and avoiding future justice system involvement.
