The Marshall Reed Youth Center (MRYC) was designed by and for young men involved with juvenile probation in Hennepin County. Through groups and one on one services over the 12 week program, participants create and achieve goals in four key areas: Health and Wellness, Leadership and Positive Male Identity, Conflict Resolution and Relationships, and Educational and Economic Self-Sufficiency

The MRYC is a part of Hennepin County’s Juvenile Detention Alternative Initiative, which was created to provide a path away from detention, and further court involvement and out-of-home placement.

The Link’s MRYC services are designed to build upon each youth’s strengths and resiliencies while providing structured, positive year-round activities during after school hours and on Saturdays, when the most juvenile crimes occur.

Referrals for this program are received exclusively through Hennepin County Juvenile Probation.
