The Link’s Parent Support Program is a culturally specific program to support African American parents of youth who are experiencing school and/or behavior issues. The program supports the parents of the youth in all of the programs in The Link’s Juvenile Justice Division.
The Parent Support Program was developed at the request of parents. It provides parenting skills education, resource connections and basic needs support through evidence based curriculum, case management and support groups.
The Parent Support Program is funded by the City of Minneapolis Health Department.
